Hi David – Watch the creeping ageism. I’m 71, a white male, and have been a liberal all my adult life. I agree that troglodyte Republican thinking is aging out of the culture, but I have a problem with comments like I heard on your show about Disabled kids being god’s punishment for abortion. Your side-kick said “most young people could look at this and think critically about it and think ‘Wow this is ridiculous I’m never going to vote for someone who is insane like this.’” Well it is not just young people who abjure insanity. I’m a non-theist, senior, white, male liberal who is never going to vote for someone who is insane like this. Would you say “most women could look at this and think critically about it and think ‘Wow this is ridiculous I’m never going to vote for someone who is insane like this?’” leaving men out of the mix. I dare say you would not. It is really hard I know but keep age inclusiveness in mind always along with race, sex, disability, etc. There are a lot of us liberal old people out there. We are on your side. Don’t put all your eggs in the youth basket please. Some of us got wiser as we got older, although it is sad to say that many did not. Just a word to the wise.

I saw on you Tube that you had a commentary on Joel Osteen. I won’t comment on that, but you made the obviously uninformed statement that female homosexuality is not mentioned, and you are incredibly wrong. Romans chapter one talks about “26 God let them follow their own evil desires. Women no longer wanted to have sex in a natural way, and they did things with each other that were not natural. 27 Men behaved in the same way. They stopped wanting to have sex with women and had strong desires for sex with other men. They did shameful things with each other, and what has happened to them is punishment for their foolish deeds.”
The law covenant which had restrictions on food was done away with at the death of Christ. Both the Hebrew and the Greek Scriptures are very clear on where God stands regarding homosexuality. There are dozens of scriptures that speak to it as being something that God hates and does not approve.
Yet we are all under free will. So if you choose not to follow that, you have that right. The same as those who wish to follow it and believe it may. Joel Osteen is a greedy lying man.
