On the Show:

–Cliff Schecter, nationally syndicated columnist and President of progressive PR firm Libertas, LLC joins us to discuss the possible effect on the 2012 Presidential election of President Obama’s announcement that he now supports full marriage equality.

–World View with Denis Campbell, Editor-in-Chief of UK Progressive Magazine, joins us from the White House briefing room to talk about his trip to the United States, the Secret Service’s security process for getting into the White House, and the French election results.

–President Obama announces he is in favor of gay marriage, and Fox News is quick to call it a war on marriage, and Harry Reid shows us a good example of the furthest right view that should exist in marriage equality.

–Gretchen Carlson questions whether President Obama is “demonizing” people who are against same sex marriage.

–Tony Perkins, from the Family Research Council, claims that his children are not gay because “we are teaching them the right ways.”

–Mitt Romney’s prep school classmates recall incidents involving Mitt Romney bullying John Lauber, a student thought to be gay by Romney, and cutting his hair off.

–Looking at some numbers showing how incredibly infrequently German police use their guns.

–Michele Bachmann is granted Swiss citizenship, which is incredible given that a common Tea Party idea is that any kind of dual allegiance, citizenship, or loyalty makes one unfit to be an elected official in the United States.

–George W. Bush requests more taxpayer dollars than any other former President.

–Voicemail & email on poverty & sports, TDPS being too far right, capitol punishment, and more.

–On the Bonus Show: Floating tech startup community, ship sails round the world on solar power, more disturbing F-22 news, more.

Of course a candidate for president should be held accountable for what at the very least assault and battery.very disappointed for the who cares that much what he did when he was 17. We should at 18 he could of fought in a war.to hold someone down and abuse them emotionally and physical is serious .
