Underwriting Sales Representative: “Midweek Politics with David Pakman”

Position: Sells on-air underwriting and sponsorships for radio, TV, and web versions of “Midweek Politics With David Pakman”, produced by Vivid Edge Media, a Northampton, MA based company. Clients can be new or renewing. Potential clients can be national, regional, or local to the 100+ stations that carry the weekly program. Some leads provided.

This is a ground-floor opportunity with a growing company.

Position reports to: an assigned producer at Vivid Edge Media Group. Some coaching and resources available from Vivid Edge Media’s marketing/public relations consultant.

Location: Sales rep will work from his/her home office, and can be located anywhere, as long as the rep is available to conduct business during business hours. Position can be full or part-time with flexible schedule, as long as schedule and availability is set in advance, clients have access to sales rep during their business hours, and goals are met.

Compensation: Stipend plus commission paid. Some out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.

Position:

*Represents Vivid Edge Media’s standards and values with professionalism and integrity

*Proactively prospects and generates leads through social networking

*Qualifies prospects and potential new advertising accounts

*Promptly follows-up incoming leads and referrals to generate contracts.

*Pitches new business to target accounts and close sales

*Works closely with Producer on goal setting and attainment.

*Meets sales goals on time as outlined.

*Reports daily to Producer with sales results and activity summary.
