Sir, Jesus, spoke in the bible that christians were to watch for his return. Watch for what? How would we know? O.K.
Read the four gospels, and then find a minister. Pray.

    Respectfully, no one of consequence.

I thank you for being a voice for the progressives. I I have always enjoyed your presentation. Even things that would have had me howling you present dispassionately; you let people make what they will of the facts. That is why I joined as an annual member, with the lowest payment, but I am one of those, who have to relay live on a pittance.

I have read those four gospels that the previous comment recommended, and the whole book besides. It not only says, in words ascribed to Jesus of Nazareth, that if you have two shirts, you should give the other one to someone who has none, it also tells of how curses were heaped upon the “shepherds of Israel”, because they had not only not helped them, but helped themselves to what little they had. That truly reminds me of the GOP of today.

And I still have hope that the Papa Johns and Robert E Murrays get their just deserts.

Excuse my stilted writing, as I am a little less practiced with this on-screen keyboard of the tablet.
