    Hey David,

I was listening to your comments on the NBC coverage of gymnast Gabby Douglas and then cutting away to a commercial featuring the monkey doing gymnastics…

While the comments may have some merit, I’ve also noticed that there are people out there who just WANT to be offended. Everyone around these easily-offended has to walk on tiptoes because anything they say or do sets the easily-offended off. I’m especially troubled that it’s the so-called “progressives” who are the most thin skinned.

To that end, I would say that the offense is often more about the offended than it is about the so-called offender.

“Casual pepper spray cop Lt. John Pike loses his job”

No sympathy here. In my opinion the idea of cops, firefighters and other government employees having it better than the average hardworking private taxpaying citizens sucks. They have lost track of what it means to be a civil servant and most act like they were forced to accept the work. There are many who work private jobs that are more dangerous and receive a lot less with no special privileges.

    Good luck to us all

Ben, the left stands against bigoted remarks and images, be they against members of a race, gender, religion, ethnic group, etc. That is not wanting to be offended.

The “unfair System: you’re referring to is that that the one that judges people based on their race and gender and doesnt allow them to get hired on the basis of their race and gender and not their qualifications? You know this unfair system, its called Affirmative action and it was a very unfair system that Barack Obama supports and I will never vote cast my vote for a politican who supports that very unfair system, whcih only liberals support. Im not a racist, but I feel everyone should be judged on their content of chracter and not their race and gender and clearly, barack Obama is not up for the job of being president. We have had 3.5 years of high debt, big government and high unemployment and soon to be high taxes and even higher unemployment, all because of Barack Obama’s liberal big government policies.
