David and Louis,
Do you believe that American citizens are going to lose jobs because of Obama’s amnesty, or do you believe that job growth is so awesome that it will easily absorb the 800,000 new work permitted amnestied immigrants?
It’s pretty clear that jobs are finite, and immigrants are taking a LOT of them. In fact, employers are often now discriminating against American citizens in favor of immigrants.
Of course I’m assuming that your loyalties are with your fellow American citizens. Perhaps I assume incorrectly?

Rob, I just saw your comment. There’s a very basic factor you seem to be missing. Those 800,000 people you mentioned, they already have jobs. Unless they’re NOT stealing our jobs after all. So, which one is it?
Also, this is also a very basic thing that you people don’t seem to get. Supply side economics does not work. Demand side economics works. Microsoft would go bankrupt if nobody ever bought a Microsoft product again. More people with jobs equals more demand. The companies supplying for that demand will have to increase supply, which means increasing production, which means increasing labor.
I’m honestly dumbfounded at how simple your brains are.
