    Louis said syringes are not “readily available to people” and implied they needed to be obtained illegally. This isn’t true. Any person can go into just about any CVS or Rite Aid and walk out with a 24-pack of new syringes, generally sold for insulin.

    I would also say that the “most likely scenario” is in fact that it’s someone who works at wal-mart. Most people aren’t aware of how common intravenous drug use is, particularly among low-paid retail workers… I say this from first-hand experience.
