–Congresswoman Donna Edwards (D-MD) sits down with us to discuss the upcoming election, racism in campaigns, and much more.
–We discuss the Rick Sanchez firing, listen to the segment from Sirius radio where Rick calls Jon Stewart a bigot and implies CNN and other media outlets are controlled by Jews, and discuss the implications and history of Jewish conspiracy theories.
–We finally give away the iPad and the winner is…listen to find out.
–An incredibly racist CSPAN caller on their Republicans line refers to the anchor as “colored” and asks why African-Americans don’t simply thank white people for what they’ve done for them.
–Gretchen Carlson’s greatest hits on Fox News include equating acknowledgment of homosexuality to “going off the rails,” and equating her job to the President of the United States, and now she says it is scary how many people consider Jon Stewart real news. We look at the obvious flaws in her theory and discuss a survey which found Daily Show viewers are far more informed and educated than Bill O’Reilly’s audience.
–Sharron Angle now suggests that some US cities are under Sharia Law, and also gets caught on audio recordings released by the Las Vegas Sun reporter Jon Ralston trying to convince her Republican opponent to exit the race in exchange for political favors.
–Senator Jim Demint, supporter of several Tea Party candidates, confirms his belief that homosexuals and unmarried pregnant women should not be allowed to teach public school because of the implied endorsement from the government that might be suggested, and we wonder if the same logic could apply to speeding.
–After asking Shirley Phelps-Roper from the Westboro Baptist Church about her infrequent blinking during television interviews a few weeks ago, several audience members email David to indicate that Shirley has been seen wearing dark sunglasses at several recent interviews, and we wonder if a nerve was struck.
–Millionaire Glenn Beck pretends he would share the pain of spending cuts, possibly loosing his home or job, and we believe he is experience PMS, Poor Me Syndrome.
–John McCain gets into an angry exchange with a reporter about Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.
–Bill Donohue lives in opposite world, claiming no organization has less of a problem with sexual abuse than the Catholic Church, and we wonder whether even NAMBLA has less of a problem with sexual abuse than the Catholic Church.
–A new study by the Pew Research Center finds that atheists and agnostics know the most about world religion, and David and Louis both take a world religions quiz, including a discussion of the implications.
–A voicemail in support of Rick Sanchez, emails about our interview with Cenk Uygur from The Young Turks, David’s comments about Stephen Colbert, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the UN, and more.
–On the Members Podcast this week: David’s personal story of an anti-Semitic encounter, Louis and his 9/11 conspiracy theory, an Emergency Bra that doubles as a gas mask, much more.

I discovered you by accident thru YouTube. I wanted to see what all the fuss about Rick Sanchez was and I saw a clip of your show. I liked what you had to say about Jewish control of the media. I do have a question … I am a Jewish author and I wrote the book: James Earl Ray – The Last Days of Inmate # 65477 My question is this … when are the meetings held? The ones where my fellow Jews get together to plot to control the world?
I am saddened that my invitation got lost and of course I will need directions to the site. I have an idea for how Jews can control the worlds yeast supplies so that all bread will be forced to adapt to Jewish domination and become more like Matzoh. Thank you, uh I mean Shalom, Michael Gabriel

I’m not Jewish, and I would’ve fired him. You don’t have to be the minority in question to be against discrimination. That’s all I have to say about that.

Stumbled upon this blog while trolling one of Dante’s levels of hell for Palin/Beck/O’Donnell detritus… Excellent and entertaining coverage. Keep up the good work!

I happened upon your Saturday program today and I was interested not only of your handling of the rick Sanchez matter but of Jewry in general and your Jewishness in particular. I certainly second your views of Sanchez and I became aware long ago of his arrogance and I am pleased to hear that he received his just reward for both his antisemitism and his arrogant, impoverished ego driven style. I too am Jewish and I belong to an older generation than yours and that of Sanchez since I am not 85 and I am here to state that antisemitism has been my companion for my entire sentient life. I was nearly knifed while in the service by a man who had identified me as a “dirty Jew, n—–r lover” because I had an African American friend while overseas in the South Pacific. Along with being a Jew that was a “no-no.” At 65 I was accused of “killing God” and in response I called the police and offered myself for arrest since I had been accused of this awful crime at age 6 as well and I thought it was time to face this. An embarrassed red faced officer arrived on schedule, ushered the man way and reassured me that the man was drunk. So yes given my own history and my set of values, Rick Sanchez received a just reward for his behavior and all that I can add is that hopefully, the man will seek professional help for his hate. Thanks for letting me ventilate.

rick Sanchez;
only “blacks/colored” can use the “N-word” without causing offense. (and some use it 100 times a day to their friends and about themselves)
for decades, Jews have bragged about, and even written books about, their accomplishments (and thus their clear superiority) in media, banking, politics, and lawyering, the fortune 500, etc. (2% of the population has 33% representation in the supreme court, and about 40% representation in the house/senate, and the most powerful lobby), but if a non-Jew mentions it, it is considered offensive. (so i will not mention it)
the other vastly over-represented group is high-ranking Freemasons, but that must just be a coincidence, too.
Sanchez was fired for “saying the ‘J-word’ without being jewish”.

Conservatives accuse listeners of the Daily Show for mistaking it as hard news, what they forget to mention is that a lot of listeners of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mike Savage and their ilk mistake the info on those shows for hard news as well. I should know, I used to work with guys who were their prime listening audience. In fact, the only info on politics they’re willing to get are from these shows – they won’t listen to mainstream news (even on Fox) for fear of supposedly left wing bias. Believe me, they’re not interested in “fair and balanced” (whether true or not) they’re interested in someone who will reinforce what they already believe.

If the Jews control the media that could explain why they are always on the side of Israel and no love for Palestine.

Why are people scared to admit that America is heavily influenced by Israel and its lobbyist American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) read this story and follow the link and then do your own research and it will be clear has day the hold that the Zionist community has on our media when it comes to reporting on Israel. Files declassified in America have revealed covert public relations and lobbying activities of Israel in the U.S. The National Archive made the documents public following a Senate investigation. They suggest Israel has been trying to shape media coverage of issues it regards as important. You can download the files from the web-site of the Institute for Research on Middle Eastern policy. And we can cross to Washington now and talk to Grant F. Smith who is a director at that Institute.
